The 2021 virtual conference registration rate is $200—less than half the standard rate.
Attendees will also be able to access the conference sessions for a few months after the conference, in case there is a session you miss or want to view again.
While you’re registering, consider also signing up for one or two of the special interest meetings (SIM) on Monday, February 8. There is no charge to attend a special interest meeting if you are attending the conference, but you must register in advance, as space is limited.
GeoTools Buddy Program
New to the GeoTools conference, or an old pro looking to connect with some new colleagues? The GeoTools buddy program is just for you! On the registration form, check the box to indicate you would like to be part of the program and you’ll be connected to several other attendees to share a bit about yourself and your work, discuss some common interests, and talk about the sessions you’re interested in and the tools you want to learn more about. You’ll receive your buddy group information several weeks before the conference to allow for the opportunity to talk before the conference and make arrangements to get together virtually. It’s up to you and your group to arrange the virtual connections as they works for you.
Professional Credit Hours
Participation in the full virtual conference earns 12 Continuing Education Credits (CECs) for Certified Floodplain Managers (CFMs). ASFPM will monitor hours spent in the virtual conference platform, and will award 12 CECs to everyone who attends for at least 12 hours over the entire virtual conference. ASFPM will provide certificates of attendance to all persons attending the full conference program upon request after the conference concludes.
